On behalf of the Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council,

representing leaders from a wide diversity of faith traditions

represented in our city, we want to express our outrage at the vandalism

of the Huntington Beach Church of Christ ["Police still looking for

church vandal," June 29].

Such a senseless crime against a house of worship must be considered

to be an attack on us all. We want everyone at the church and all the

people of Huntington Beach to understand that such acts will not be

tolerated, and that we pledge our full support to the Huntington Beach

Police Department and city leadership in dealing with this matter in an

appropriate and expeditious manner.
