locally andglobally." The church has a very strong missions focus that is
supported by a strong and growing congregation.
CHURCH DESIGN: The congregation currently meets in a renovated
warehouse while members look for permanent facilities in Huntington
Beach. They recently converted the fellowship area into the Common Ground
Cafe. The cafe has an espresso machine and quite a menu. The renovation
allows members to linger over coffee and enjoy each other's company a bit
longer. The church plans to build a mission-style facility to house a
K-12 Christian school, a Bible college and a missionary training school
along with its other facilities. While actively pursuing adequate
property to meet its ministry needs, the congregation retains its
philosophy that the primary important focus is the people; any building
will be left behind one day. Lives touched are of eternal value.
INTERESTING NOTE: Psalm 90:16-17 is the congregation's request to God.
It reads, "Let your work appear to your servants, and your glory to their
children. And let the beauty of the lord our God be upon us. And
establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our
hands."
