The Exchange Club of Huntington Beach meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at

the IHOP Restaurant, 18782 Beach Blvd. The group focuses on Americanism

SATURDAY

The Huntington Beach Art Center's exhibit, "Rhapsody" is showing

through Dec. 1. The exhibition will feature Darrow's works in mixed media

and collage from 1990-2000. Darrow uses ordinary objects such as shows,

scraps of paper and book bindings to create his works. The gallery's

hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; noon to 8 p.m.

Thursday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at 538 Main St. Admission is free.

WEDNESDAY

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 53, will offer a 8 lesson

course in "Boating Skills and Seamanship" at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays

beginning Dec. 5 at Boat U.S. Marine Center, 16390 Pacific Coast Highway

The Huntington Harbour Garden Club is hosting a Home Tour and Tea to

raise money for floral projects in Huntington Beach. The homes will be

open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $20 for advance

tickets, $25 at the door of the Tea Room and Sweet Shoppe Boutique, 17158

DEC. 2

Huntington Beach Public Library is offering an afternoon of music

featuring sonatas by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and Ravel. The concert is

at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at the library, 7111 Talbert Ave. Tickets are

$12, $9 for seniors and students and $5 for children 12 and younger.

The Huntington Beach Public Library is hosting a production of the

Nutcracker for children. Ballet Etudes will perform in a 45-minute

production at 4 and 7 p.m., Dec. 5, at the library theater in the central
