To submit an event, e-mail the information (including time, date, place and a short description) to hbindy@latimes.com with “CHURCH EVENT” in the subject line.
Submissions should be sent by the Friday before publication. This calendar will not include ongoing events, such as weekly meetings. This is for one-time events, such as food drives, special presentations and fundraisers.

The Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council is having its fourth annual Thanksgiving Community Family Service at 7 p.m. hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5402 Heil Ave., Huntington Beach.
