Woman says driver tried to run into her

A woman told police that she was waiting to pick up her children at 2:36 p.m. June 4 in the 6300 block of Larchwood Drive when another woman pulled up in a gray Toyota Camry, which had children inside, and started yelling and cursing at her.

The woman said when she went to leave, the driver of the Camry drove at her vehicle and appeared to try to hit it.


Bolsa Chica Street: A woman reported that her mobile home was broken into and that a silver dollar collection was taken in the 16400 block at 1:14 p.m. June 4.

Bolsa Chica Street: A woman reported money missing from her home in the 16400 block at 8:58 a.m. Friday. She said it had happened before and that she suspected a man in her complex had made a copy of her house key and was sneaking in.

Edinger Avenue: A gray Toyota was stolen outside Mervyn’s in the 7700 block at 6:42 p.m. June 4.

Goldenwest Street: A store employee said a male customer was threatening the manager and refusing to leave in the 15900 block at 12:28 a.m. June 4.

Viewpoint Lane: A man said his back screen door was removed and a computer and cat were taken in the 16700 block at 11:34 a.m. Sunday.

Beachside Drive: A resident said another resident two houses down had been yelling and cursing for 30 minutes in a backyard in the 9600 block at 8:21 p.m. June 4.

Ellis Avenue: A television was reported stolen from an apartment in the 8100 block at 12:10 a.m. June 4.

Ellis Avenue: An apartment tenant reported that a man and woman were yelling at each other in a nearby unit and that the woman, who didn’t live at the complex, was refusing to leave in the 7500 block at 1:44 a.m. June 4.

Ellis Avenue: An apartment manager reported that a man punched another man in the mouth in the 8100 block at 8:53 a.m. Saturday.

Sherwood Drive: Juveniles were reported shooting off fireworks in a park in the 7300 block at 9:31 p.m. Friday.

Talbert Avenue and Gothard Street: Four males were reported tagging on the railroad tracks at 2:15 p.m. June 4.

Tuscan Circle: A resident reported that a 13-year-old boy was shooting at birds with an airsoft or BB gun in the 17500 block at 1:36 p.m. Saturday.

Elmira Avenue: A resident reported that their car had been burglarized in the 200 block at 12:51 p.m. Friday. The car window had been left open and a laptop, designer sunglasses, iPod, Coach bag and GPS were taken.
