The city of Huntington Beach has authorized the expansion of the Surf City Savings program to allow any business in the city to participate.
The program is currently in effect at Five Points Plaza, Bella Terra and Old World Village.
Surf City Savings helps shoppers find discounts and incentives at local businesses through its website, surfcitysavings.com.
Merchants pay nothing to participate and receive free advertising and other benefits as a result of their willingness to offer discounts.
The city will release more information when the full program is up and running.
