Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a robbery suspect who hit a Huntington Beach bank Friday.
The unidentified man in a San Diego Chargers baseball hat, a dark hooded sweat shirt and black wrap-around sunglasses walked into the Bank of America at 20061 Brookhurst St. and demanded large bills from the teller before fleeing on foot, according to Lt. Russell Reinhart. Officials aren’t releasing the amount stolen.
The man waited in the customer line about 3:15 p.m. Friday until his turn came. When he reached the teller, he displayed a note asking for large bills but didn’t show any weapon. The man took the note back and left the bank on foot when he received his money. Witnesses didn’t see any vehicle, Reinhart said.
