Four Fountain Valley residents want the city to pay up for allegedly damaging their reputation and their property during a series of incidents dating back to 2002.
Joseph Masaoka, Arther Masaoka, Amy Harchol and Curtis Wolf filed a claim Sept. 2 against the city of Fountain Valley for allegedly violating their civil rights, personal injury and property damage. The residents are asking for more than $25,000 in damages, according to the claim. A claim is the precursor to a lawsuit.
The four said city building inspectors, code enforcement and police officers have been unlawfully entering their home on Arches Court, according to the claim.
