In the win against the Dolphins, Bajj Chela, Drew Parrish and Matt Stickler each scored, Alvarez and Tyler Bigenho each had an assist and Campbell had one save.
Edison began the season Dec. 1 at the Aliso Cup Tournament and went on to win the title by scoring wins against Aliso Niguel, Alta Loma, Esperanza, Santa Ana Valley and Century. The Chargers outscored those four opponents, 22-1.

Edison headed into the holiday break on a winning note having defeated Dana Hills, 13-8, in nonleague play Friday.
Alys Williams had five goals to lead all scorers. Williams, who set a school record Dec. 4 with 13 steals in a nonleague win against Rosary, also had seven steals. Haley Kunert and Melissa Balding each scored four times and Sydni Estrella had five saves for the Chargers, who maintained the lead throughout and then put the Dolphins away in the fourth quarter.
"We knew (going into our game) that they were a very strong team (and) winning in their pool is not an easy task," Edison Coach Diggy Riley said. "They have a great fan base with a lot of pride and they are always loud."
The 3-2 Chargers, ranked eighth in Division 1, return to action Dec. 30 to face Santa Margarita in a first-round game at the Newport Harbor Holiday Cup tournament.
"We have a long break, 10 practice days, to ready ourselves for the always competitive Holiday Cup," Riley said.
