FRIDAY: The three-day Waitiki Festival, featuring dinner, music and dancing, goes till Friday at Don the Beachcomber at 16278 Pacific Coast Hwy., Huntington Beach. "Drama in Seven Acts," a photography exhibit featuring works by Lauren Greenfield, Alvin Booth, Themba Hadebe, David Lurie, Euro Rotelli, Robert Stivers and Guy Tillim, is on display at the OMC Gallery for Contemporary Art, Old World Village, 7561 Center Ave. #32, Huntington Beach. New Year's Bash

La Brique Steakhouse hosts its first New Year's celebration at 14892 Springdale St., Huntington Beach. Pianist Richie Fauno and multi-instrumentalist Danny Lantz perform beginning at 8 p.m., and the menu includes a number of appetizers, entrees and desserts.
