The Woman's Club of Huntington Beach will begin demolishing the remains of its former clubhouse Monday, Treasurer Rosemary Trout said.
The club has hired a contractor to clear out the site at 420 10th St., where the 101-year-old clubhouse burned nearly to the ground April 30.
Trout said she expects the site to be cleared by the end of a week. Club members recently said they will need to raise funds and obtain city permits to build a replacement structure.
