Bodkin's pretrial is scheduled for Oct. 14, with a preliminary hearing Nov. 3.

Huntington Beach police arrested Bodkin on Aug. 15 after a resident called and reported seeing him walking with another adult inside an apartment complex.

According to police, Bodkin was babysitting Aug. 9 when one of the child's parents came home from work an hour early. Police said Bodkin, who was wearing nothing but a T-shirt, grabbed his pants from the floor and fled the apartment.
