Ocean View (1-1) vs. Laguna Beach (1-0), 7 p.m., at Laguna Beach High: Both Ocean View and Laguna Beach went on the offensive last week to pick up their initial wins of the season.
Ocean View piled it on during the final three quarters against Calvary Chapel/Santa Ana, scoring all of its points to score a wild 62-34 triumph. Quarterback Timmy Robinson rushed for four touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes to Elijah Nolasco-Blas. Robinson accumulated 240 yards of offense and running back Travis Sparks-Jackson had 138 receiving yards.
Laguna Beach started its campaign Friday and rolled to a 55-7 victory over Webb. The Breakers rushed for an astounding 576 yards that was both a single-game school rushing record and surpassed the single-game record for total yardage. Robert Clemons scored on runs of 23 and 76 yards and Drake Martinez, whose brother, Taylor, is the starting quarterback for Nebraska, scored three times and rushed for a game-high 115 yards on just five carries.
