Surf with the Big Dogs

The third annual Surf City Surf Dog event takes place in Huntington Beach, with opening ceremonies from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Shorebreak Hotel, 500 Pacific Coast Hwy. The Chronic Disease Self-Management Program offers a free six-week self-management class at FountainGlen Seacliff Clubhouse, 7181 Garden Glen Court, Huntington Beach. The class runs from 9 to

Walk for Water

Women of the Wells leads its annual WOW Walk 4 Water in downtown Huntington Beach, starting on the beach by Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K walk/run begins at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds will support clean water wells in Africa, Asia and South America. Cost per person is $25.
