Noah Harrison scored four goals, Jovan Jeremic and Scott Schultz scored twice, John Lovat scored once and Brandon Lucia had seven saves for the Oilers, who are ranked fourth in CIF Southern Section Division 1. The Sailors, ranked second in Division 1, got a game-high six goals from junior Curtis Fink and 11 saves from goalie Koby Yokota.
The outcome left Huntington at 2-1 in league, a game behind co-leaders Newport Harbor and Los Alamitos, both 3-0.
The Oilers bounced back Friday to edge Dana Hills, 9-8, in nonleague play.
Edison picked up its first Sunset League victory Oct. 19 by handing Marina a 19-2 loss at the Newport Harbor pool. The Chargers led, 8-0, after one quarter and extended their lead to 15-0 at the half. Tony Morelli scored five goals, freshman Dane Estrella had four goals and Brent Bazzell, Kyle Crossen both scored three goals and Nate Sfreddo had nine saves for the Chargers, who improved to 1-2 in league.
