Holiday Book Sale

The Main Street Branch Library hosts its annual holiday sale of books, movies and CDs at 525 Main St., Huntington Beach. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Items are at half price Dec. 10 through 17.



OMC Gallery For Contemporary Art, 7561 Center Ave., No. 32, Huntington Beach, hosts a pastels and drawings exhibit by artist Scott Valenzuela. Gallery hours are from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and also by appointment.


Christmas Concert

The American Assn. of University Women's Westminster-Fountain Valley-Huntington Beach Branch hosts a general meeting and luncheon at Meadowlark Golf Course, 16782 Graham St., Huntington Beach. Candlelight Concert

Community United Methodist Church's Music Ministry presents "A Candlelight Christmas Concert" at 6652 Heil Ave., Huntington Beach. Music Director Greg Kirby leads the Chancel Choir, Adult Handbells, Celebration Singers, Youth Handbells and Joyful Noise Choir, plus a brass quintet, organ and percussion. Nativity Play

Cruise of Lights

The Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Committee presents the 49th annual Cruise of Lights, a 45-minute narrated boat tour through the harbour with lighted boats, decks, docks and homes. Cruises depart every day at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $17 for adults, $10 for children ages 2 through 12. Adult tickets are $15 on Dec. 19.
