5K Fun Run

The Anytime Fitness 5K Fun Run is at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center, 16400 Brookhurst St. On-site registration begins at 7 a.m., with the 5K run/walk beginning at 8 a.m. Registration fee is $30 and proceeds benefit more than 30 nonprofits around Fountain Valley. Bella Terra All-Star Band

Edison Golf Tournament

The Center for International Business and Communication Studies program at Edison High School hosts a fundraising golf tournament at SeaCliff Country Club, 6501 Palm Ave., Huntington Beach. The event includes golf, lunch, dinner, a raffle and silent and live auctions. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. and dinner and raffle at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $195 for golf, lunch
