Retail Therapy: Camp out at Chick-fil-A

Chicken camp: Chick-fil-A, 3181 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, is hosting a family campout from 9 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $25 per family. The King lives: The Orange County Market Place swap meet will host its King of Cadillacs Car Show and Elvis paraphernalia event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Fashion bash: The second annual Fashion Camp Bash will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on and around the District Stage at the District at Tustin Legacy, 2477 Park Ave., Tustin. Fashion Camp offers fashion styling and sewing courses and events for ages 7 to adult. The free family event will feature a show of District retailers' fashions, styled by camp participants, at 1 p.m. Food samples and do-it-yourself stations will feature fashion sketching, sewing challenges, T-shirt deconstruction, hair braiding and flower hair wreaths, and mini manicures. Participating retailers include Madison Blue, Vans, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Costco. Fashion Camp also will offer 20% off fall classes on Saturday only. Second time around: Nonprofit retail shop Repeat Boutique, whose proceeds benefit New Directions for Women, is holding a blowout sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Esplanade, 3001 Red Hill Ave., Building One, Suite 104, Costa Mesa.
