Aliso Viejo

Ray and Mary Walton Baroglio of Huntington Beach are pleased to announce the engagement and wedding plans of their daughter Candace Baroglio Tennison to Stephen Carl Hill of Aliso Viejo. He is the son of the late Julia Hill and stepson of Marjorie Hill of Manchester, Conn. The groom to be attended the University of Connecticut and has been a consultant of software development in Orange County for the last 20 years. The future bride graduated from Concordia University and obtained her elementary school teaching credential.

James Lambert scored a game-high 15 points and Gene Grant, Tim Hoffmann, and Adam Dedeaux each contributed key second half baskets to lead the St. Bonaventure Saints of Huntington Beach past St. Mary's (Aliso Viejo), 34-32, in the Parochial Athletic League county championship game held at St. Jeanne's in Tustin. Strong rebounding by Danny Falkenstein and Tommy Ursano, and the defense of Grant and Hoffmann, helped contain St. Mary's guard-driven offense.
