A Los Angeles teenager died after being struck by a car during a road rage-incited fight on Beach Boulevard on Friday evening, authorities said. Huntington Beach police received a call at about 7:01 p.m. Friday about a fight on the east side of Beach Boulevard. Additional callers said one of the men in the fight had been struck by an unrelated vehicle. People on the scene told police that three vehicles traveling north on Beach Boulevard “ultimately became involved in a ‘road rage’-type confrontation,” a police report said.

Commotion breaks out over lost keys Someone reported four subjects ? two males and two females ? who were screaming over how they couldn?t find their keys at 1:47 a.m. Friday at Pacific Coast Highway and Ninth Street. The caller didn?t see a vehicle anywhere near them. AREA 1 Beach Boulevard: A physical fight in front of Chipotle was reported in the 16200 block at 7:54 p.m. Saturday. Reports say there were about 40 witnesses. Beach Boulevard and Edinger Avenue: A woman reported that a man began kicking her car and yelling at her at 9:28 a.m. June 11. The vehicle was scuffed.

Sometimes it?s not what you eat, but where you eat it. My belief has always been that dining out should be an experience, whether it is at a four-star restaurant or a taco truck on the side of the road. Eating out is often about the atmosphere and who you share the meal with, and the food just an accouterment. One of the best meals I ever had was at a roadside crawfish stand outside of New Orleans with two complete strangers. I learned more about the city and Hurricane Katrina than I would ever had watching television news.

Police have arrested a man who allegedly walked out of a Huntington Beach bank earlier this afternoon with about $20,000 in cash. Police took Patrick Murphy, 53, into custody at about 2 p.m. this afternoon. Murphy was described as a transient local to the Orange County area. He entered the Comerica Bank at 17011 Beach Blvd. at 1:08 p.m. and verbally demanded for money from a bank teller, authorities said. He left the bank on foot. Police located Murphy about a block away from the bank; he was taken into custody in front of the Howard Johnson hotel on Beach Boulevard.
